Inventus International Business Network
From product development to international business development
Over the past year, Inventus has started developing a new business pillar around international network development. The objective is to bring technically capable suppliers, relevant buyers, product companies and commercial partners together within a structured Inventus network.

For more than 25 years, Inventus has helped transform ideas into technically credible and manufacturable products.
During that time, we have worked with inventors, entrepreneurs, product companies, engineers, manufacturers and specialised suppliers. This experience has shown us that even a well-developed product can fail to reach its potential when the right commercial and manufacturing connections are missing.
Innovative companies often struggle to identify suppliers that genuinely understand their technical requirements. At the same time, capable manufacturers may have excellent production facilities and engineering knowledge but limited access to relevant international buyers.
The problem is therefore not always a lack of capability. Frequently, it is a lack of connection, context and mutual understanding.
Over the past year, Inventus has started developing a new business pillar around international network development. The objective is to bring technically capable suppliers, relevant buyers, product companies and commercial partners together within a structured Inventus network.
This activity is a natural extension of our product-development and manufacturing experience.
Inventus is not approaching these connections as a traditional contact broker. A company name, product category or price list is not sufficient to determine whether two organisations can create value together. Successful cooperation depends on a much deeper alignment of technical capabilities, production methods, quality expectations, volumes, market objectives and commercial priorities.
Our product-development background allows us to understand both sides of that relationship.
When working with a buyer, we can examine the product, technical requirements, expected quality, target pricing and manufacturing challenges. When evaluating a potential supplier, we can look beyond the sales presentation and consider its actual production processes, engineering capabilities, materials experience and suitability for the intended application.
This technical understanding makes it possible to create more relevant matches.
The objective is not to introduce as many companies as possible. It is to identify combinations in which the supplier's capabilities correspond with the buyer's real needs and where both parties have a credible basis for cooperation.
Inventus is systematically expanding this international network across Europe and Asia, with particular attention to China, Vietnam and Thailand. It includes manufacturers, specialised suppliers, product companies, innovative SMEs, buyers and professionals with complementary industrial expertise.
The new activity is built around four connected capabilities:
understanding the buyer's technical and commercial requirements;
identifying suppliers with relevant manufacturing capabilities;
evaluating whether both organisations represent a credible match;
supporting the initial cooperation through technical communication and manufacturing insight.
Our involvement can begin long before a supplier needs to be selected. Inventus can support the development and engineering of the product, help define production requirements and subsequently use this knowledge to identify appropriate manufacturing partners.
In other situations, the starting point may be an established supplier with valuable capabilities that are not yet sufficiently visible in international markets. Inventus can help connect that supplier with buyers and product companies for whom those capabilities are genuinely relevant.
The network can therefore support both directions: helping companies find the right manufacturing resources and helping capable manufacturers reach appropriate commercial opportunities.
This creates a broader Inventus model in which innovation, manufacturing and international cooperation reinforce one another.
A product idea can be developed into a functional concept. That concept can be engineered and prepared for production. Suitable manufacturing partners can be identified. And the resulting capabilities or products can be connected with relevant international buyers.
For Inventus, this is not a departure from product development. It is the next logical stage of it.
Because successful innovation depends on more than the quality of the original idea. It also requires the right materials, engineering, manufacturing expertise, business partners and routes to market.
Inventus connects innovation with manufacturing—and manufacturing capabilities with international business opportunities.
