1. Scope and acceptance

These terms apply to https://inventus.be, operated by Invent-It BV under the commercial name Inventus. By accessing or using this website, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.

2. Informational business purpose

This website is an informational business-to-business website. It presents general information about the activities and capabilities of Inventus and is intended for professional visitors.

The content of this website does not constitute engineering, design, manufacturing, sourcing, legal, patent, certification, investment or any other project-specific advice.

3. No contract through website use

Visiting this website, downloading content, submitting a form or exchanging informal communications does not create a contract, a mandate, a supplier appointment, any exclusivity or any obligation of confidentiality on the part of Inventus.

An engagement arises only through an expressly accepted written quotation, a written agreement or a confirmation issued by an authorised representative of Invent-It BV.

4. Permitted use

You may consult this website and reproduce limited extracts for your own internal business evaluation of a possible collaboration with Inventus, provided the source is not misrepresented and no intellectual-property notices are removed.

5. Prohibited use

You may not:

use the website for any unlawful purpose;
interfere with the operation, integrity or security of the website;
introduce malicious code or any other harmful material;
attempt to obtain unauthorised access to the website, its systems or its data;
carry out unreasonable scraping, crawling or automated extraction of content;
suggest a false affiliation, partnership or endorsement;
reuse content for commercial purposes without prior written authorisation.

6. Submissions and sensitive information

You may submit only information that you are authorised to share. Do not send information that belongs to a third party or that is subject to confidentiality obligations you have not cleared.

The general contact form is not a secure channel for trade secrets, unpublished inventions, export-controlled technology, highly sensitive personal data or extensive technical files.

All content on this website is protected by intellectual-property rights held by Invent-It BV or its licensors. Except as expressly permitted under these terms or by mandatory law, no content may be reproduced, adapted, distributed or communicated to the public without prior written consent.

8. Availability, links and changes

Inventus aims to keep the website available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The website, its content and these terms may be modified, suspended or discontinued at any time.

Links to external websites are provided for convenience only and imply no endorsement. Inventus is not responsible for third-party content or services.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Inventus is not liable for damage arising from the use of, or the inability to use, this website or from reliance on its general content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any use of this website are governed by Belgian law. The courts competent for the registered office of Invent-It BV have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

12. Booking terms — Product Idea Review

These specific terms apply to the paid Product Idea Review, a personal advisory session of exactly two hours provided by Invent-It BV under the commercial name Inventus.

Confidentiality without a separate NDA. Inventus is contractually bound to confidentiality by these booking terms. Information you share in the context of the session is not published, is not used for other clients and is not shared with third parties without your permission, except where mandatory law requires disclosure.
Ownership. You remain the owner of your idea and of all information you provide. The session creates no transfer of intellectual-property rights.
Scope and limitations. The session is an independent, experience-based opinion and brainstorm. It is not a formal novelty or patentability search, not legal or financial advice, not a full market study, not an engineering study and not a certified feasibility study.
Fee and prepayment. The fixed fee is €795 excl. VAT and is payable in full in advance, after Inventus has accepted the request.
Confirmation. The appointment is only definitively scheduled once payment has been received in full.
Rescheduling and cancellation. The appointment can be rescheduled free of charge up to 48 hours before the agreed start time. In case of later cancellation or no-show, the fee is not refunded, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Refusal of requests. Inventus may refuse a request on motivated grounds before payment, for example in case of a conflict of interest or lack of relevant expertise.
No guarantees. Inventus gives no guarantee of technical feasibility, protectability or commercial success, and there is no obligatory follow-up assignment.
